Q: What do you do?
A: I’m in charge of programming and game design, as well as all technical aspects concerned with our developments.
Q: What makes you most excited for VR, AR and MR?
A: I like to experiment with new technologies all the time. In particular, I think that XR is opening opportunities for new ways to interact with media content and that is really exciting because it’s a huge paradigm shift.
Q: What are your thoughts on the way the industry has grown in the last 12 months?
A: I’m very confident that we’re reaching a point where we pretty much know what kind of experience is going to work well with users and we have more serious data about their expectations and how we can shape a sustainable business model around that.
Q: What major trends do you predict for VR, AR and MR in the next 12 months?
A: We’ll see more polished and advanced experiences from developers in VR/AR with MR making it first steps.
Right now, it seems that to reach a considerable user base, developers have to develop hybrid VR/PC/Console experiences. I think that with standalone headsets, VR is going to expand it userbase and be more profitable to developers so they can focus on solo VR experiences.
Q: Which part of XR Connects London are you most looking forward to and why?
A: The networking is amazing; much better than major conferences like GDC, as it’s much more intimate and relaxed. Also, you can get great insights from industry experts from the tracks.
