UK newspaper The Guardian is doing a free giveaway of 96,000 Google Cardboard VR headsets to promote its VR app, The Guardian VR.

The majority of the giveaway will take place on the weekend of the 7th and 8th October, with 87,500 headsets being given away with physical copies of the newspaper at retailers.

The remaining 8,500 are available to order online free, over the same time period and dispatched by 9th November.
