King, the mobile gaming company behind Candy Crush, has launched its first AR game for Facebook Lens. Added to Facebook Camera Effects, the AR experience features alongside a selection of AR selfie filters on the app.
Players have to catch candies of the same colour in their mouth as they are thrown from the bottom of the screen. The game carries over the same match-up combos as the original Candy Crush game, with added difficulty of accidentally catching the wrong coloured candy and having to restart levels while facing a depleting timer.
The new AR experience for Facebook Lens is available via the Facebook mobile app.
