We want as many games industry professionals to come to XR Connects Helsinki this month. So we’re providing free buses from around Finland, as well as heavily discounted tickets!
If you work in the VR/AR, mobile or PC games industry, XR Connects is THE place to be this September. Taking place Tuesday 19th and Wednesday 20th September in Wanha Satama, Helsinki, it will deliver talks and panels, an expo area, free meeting system, massive party, indie pitch sessions and loads more. That’s 10 tracks featuring 100+ speakers focusing on Influencers, eSports, Monetisation, Practical Development (narrative, UX, audio), HTML5, Industry Trends, Funding, Deal Making, Indie Success, Publishing and more.
You can expect 1,200 delegates representing 700+ international companies, so boundless networking is assured. Running alongside Pocket Gamer Connects, now on its fourth year in Helsinki, it’s become a popular fixture in the industry calendar. And now we’re launching an event entirely dedicated to XR, and bringing in the PC community for the first time as well.
Free Bus Rides!
We want the whole games ecosystem to have a chance to take part in this event, no matter your location, and to make everything more accessible and convenient for our friends outside the Helsinki area, we are organising bus rides from hubs all around the country. Our buses are completely free of charge - you just need to register using this form and turn up!
A bus ticket doesn’t guarantee entry to the event - you’ll need a conference pass for that. Passes are still available here.
IGDA Discounts
We want to see IGDA Finland members there because it’s on your home turf. So we’re offering a 30% discount on the final, full ticket price to all IGDA members. Simply speak to your local IGDA hub coordinator, who has an exclusive discount code for you.
We’re still accepting sign-ups for the VR Indie Pitch, so if you have a game project you’d like to showcase to the expert judges, get in touch!

We run PG Connects (mobile), XR Connects (VR, AR, MR) and PC Connects (PC) at the same time in the same venue. This will be our fourth year in Helsinki, running 19-20 September 2017 at Wanha Satama. Our events are built on these four pillars:
