$1 Million VR Developer Fund Launched

Merge VR has launched its $1 million Developer Fund to support developers that create new projects for their platform. The Texan company says, ‘We’re committed to supporting your vision and want to invest in you! Whether you’re building an educational game, a digital toy, or an innovative AR/VR experience, we want to help make your ideas a reality.’

Projects must be suitable for ages 10 and up and applications are open to developers of varying levels of experience, as long as the project uses Merge’s SDK.

Jeremy Kenisky, Merge VP of Creative said, "We created the Merge Developer Fund to broaden our support of the dev community." He also highlighted the potential of its interactive holographic Cube saying, "The Merge Cube introduces an entirely new experience to the world and the developer fund provides an awesome opportunity for devs to get creative and be ambitious."
