Stockholm-based developer Resolution Games has unveiled its new fishing adventure game, Bait!, due out on March 24 for the Samsung Gear VR.

The game sees players fishing in a variety of tranquil locations, and a not-so-tranquil swamp, catching fish to earn money and upgrade their fishing rods.

Cast a line

The fish themselves appear to be fantastical, colourful creations, and the shop keepers are larger-than-life characters, so realism is clearly not the main focus, which could mean any manner of weird and wonderful things coming out of the water.

Resolution Games, founded by Tommy Palm, closed a $6 million Series A funding round in August 2015.
