Riding on the growing excitement/hype (delete as applicable) for VR and AR, Unity has announced it's running a dedicated event.
Called the Vision Virtual and Augmented Reality Summit, it will run in the Loews Hotel in Hollywood from 10-11 February 2016.
Seeing the future
Unity hopes the event will enable discussion around the conceptual and practical design of VR and AR games, as well as helping developers solve challenges such as interface design and implementation and creating full immersion through presence.
Key companies who will be involved in the event include Oculus, Qualcomm, Sony, and Valve.
"VR and AR promise to change the way we interact with technology and entertainment," said Unity CEO John Riccitiello.
"Vision Summit will bring the best minds together to discuss how the great potential in these technologies can be realized."
