Germany now has a new funding programme for start-ups from Brandenburg's Ministry of Economic Affairs. The Media Tech Lab will support companies working in VR, AR and MR, as well as ‘other future technologies’.

The Media Tech Lab includes an individually conceived mentoring and matchmaking programme, an 80% rent subsidy, support for and brokering of financing, access to funding and investment programmes, to relevant networks, participation in peer group meetings, and visibility through targeted communication activities by the Media Tech Hub Potsdam.

The new initiative kicked off at this week’s VR Now Con and Awards and applications are accepted from 24th November to 18th January 2018.
