Learn To Code By Making Games For £12

Udemy's Unity development course is down to £12 from £195, until Sunday, November 20th. The course is 52 hours in length, with 303 lectures, lifetime access and a certificate of completion. The course advises that students either have some coding experience or the willingness to self-teach.

Unity is renowned throughout the industry as an easy to learn, multiplatform game engine, and is prominent in VR development. For instance, Tilt Brush, Google’s successful VR painting simulator, was created using Unity. The development engine has also led to the success of many students, a recent example being Naomi Kotler’s Into The Black VR, which was nominated for two of this year’s Unity awards and is now running for the Independent Games Festival competition.

Udemy’s course is project-based, so students won’t just be learning programming concepts, but applying them immediately to real indie games as they build on their skillset. Students will also learn the coding language C#, helping to build skills that aren’t limited to game development.

Those looking to make the most of Udemy’s 94% off deal should do so fast, as the price will go up.
