“Touch delivers the magic of VR input,” promised Oculus CEO & Co-founder Brendan Iribe at yesterday’s Oculus Conn3ct event in California. “There’s nothing like seeing your hands in VR. Hand presence is a powerful way to make you feel like you’re really there.”
Speaking about the design process, Iribe explained that, “We wanted the controller to just naturally fit in your hand for you to be able to use it for a long period of time without fatiguing that you have to hold something. These controllers are your interface to the virtual world and we were determined to get this right.”
