Greenpeace has launched its Virtual Explorer, giving users the chance to come face to face with a polar bear in the Arctic or soar above the Amazon.
The environmental charity hopes that its supporters will experience these places in VR to see what the campaigns aim to protect. Greenpeace is also offering ‘free’ Cardboard headsets – in return for a minimum donation of £6.
The app is available for Android and for iPhone now; the Greenpeace Virtual Explorer app and headsets are only available in the UK.
