Vendetta Online allows thousands of players to interact as the pilots of spaceships in a vast universe. Users may build their characters in any direction they desire, becoming rich captains of industry, military heroes, or outlaws. Vendetta Online includes extensive support for the Daydream Motion Controller, allowing pilots to fly and navigate their ships, while also enabling a special 'laser pointer' mode for selecting distant objects.
"We're excited to see our title debut on this mobile-VR ecosystem," said John Bergman, CEO of Guild Software. "The immersion made possible by Daydream, along with the intensity and social dynamics of a true space MMORPG, will give people an unforgettable experience."
We were quite impressed with the Daydream controls in our early access play through. The combination of head movement and controller set a good pace and we didn’t notice any motion sickness, you can accelerate with the controller through touch and swipe commands while you steer your ship and target enemies with your gaze.
Daydream support will arrive with a new Vendetta Online HD application, separate from the historical package of Vendetta Online for Android.
