Viveport To Give Developers 100% Revenue This Holiday

To celebrate the first anniversary of Viveport, HTC Vive will forego its platform fee in Q4 2017, with 100% of revenue going directly to developers.

Rikard Steiber, President of Viveport said, “From launching the first-ever subscription model for a VR app store to exceeding 1,000 titles available globally, to over 26,000 registered developers in our community, Viveport has grown by leaps and bounds over the past year.

“We enter year two with exciting new features and improvements to continue our commitment to providing the best VR experience for Viveport customers and the most monetisation options for developers.”

Arcade In A Manager

In addition to all developers receiving all profits during the holidays, developer revenue share for Viveport Arcade Manager will increase from 50% to 70%.

Viveport Arcade Manager has been in trial with over 50 operators in more than 15 countries with over 700 titles. The programme has now entered open beta.
