Star Wars fans can find out more about the characters in the forthcoming movie, The Last Jedi, thanks to an AR app that is available to download for iPhone and Android now. 

The Find The Force feature within the Star Wars app asks users to find the logo at participating retail sites and websites worldwide. The app will then display an animated character in AR that you can have your picture taken with, or even a video clip.

Following on from the astounding success of last year’s Pokemon GO, there’s also a ‘gotta catch ‘em all’ angle in Find The Force, as the app unlocks data chips for users to collect and earn ‘digital rewards’. The graphics will reveal different characters every day from 1st to 3rd September.
