VR Live Pass Starts Tomorrow With UFC

The first VR livestream event from Samsung’s new VR Live Pass on Gear VR is tomorrow’s UFCfight between featherweight champion José Aldo and interim featherweight champion Max Holloway.

We’re promised a high-quality 360-degree livestream with access to additional VR content, including pre-event and post-event show highlights. Subsequent events include the X Games Minneapolis between 13 and 16 July, followed by a live music concert from an ‘International Artist’ with Live Nation in August.

360 Degrees In 45 Countries

The free VR Live Pass on Gear VR events will be available through the Samsung VR app in 45 countries. “We are excited to offer Samsung Gear VR users the opportunity to experience their favourite live music and sporting events through our industry-leading VR ecosystem,” said Younghee Lee, CMO and Executive Vice President, Samsung Electronics. “Partnering with these companies to expand our VR services helps us to open up a new gateway of opportunities for fans and demonstrate our commitment to delivering experiences that make the seemingly impossible, possible.”
