BAFTA has today announced the nominees for its forthcoming British Academy Games Awards.
The nominations include two VR games out of 99 award entries across 17 categories that include Game Innovation, Game Design, Debut Game, Mobile, and Ones To Watch.
Those games are Batman: Arkham VR, which is up for two awards; British Game, and Game Innovation; and The Playroom VR in the Family category.
Other than the caped crusader and cute robots, the all-conquering mobile sensation, Pokemon Go, also bags a brace of nominations, for Family, and Game Innovation.
Rez Infinite is up for the Audio Achievement award, but it’s unclear whether this is for the PS VR version or the normal PS4 game.
The British Academy of Film and Television Arts Games Awards winners will be announced at 10:00 on 6th April.
